Home Base Appraisal Management Refund Policy
Overview:
At Home Base Appraisal Management, we are committed to providing professional and unbiased appraisal services. When you engage our services, you are purchasing our ability to find and engage an expert opinion of value from a certified appraiser. It is important to understand that this opinion is independent, objective, and uninfluenced by external factors, including the outcome of a loan, the preferences of any party, or the success of a transaction.
No Guarantee of Outcome:
By paying for our appraisal services, you acknowledge that you are not guaranteed any specific outcome, value, conclusion, or result. The appraisal is a professional opinion of value based on the appraiser's analysis of the property and relevant market data. Once that report is delivered to the client that engaged us we have completed our role in the transaction. As such, we do not issue refunds if:
- The loan does not close.
- The appraised value is not what the parties expected or desired.
- The transaction does not proceed for any reason.
- The client expresses dissatisfaction by the results of the report.
Cancellation and Refunds:
In cases where an appraisal is canceled before it is completed, we may issue a partial refund. The refund will be calculated as follows:
- Any fees already incurred by the appraiser for services rendered up to the point of cancellation will be deducted from the refund amount.
- A 3% cancellation fee will be charged on all orders to cover the costs associated with credit card processing.
The determination of whether an appraisal is considered "completed" or is a potential candidate for a refund is solely the responsibility of Home Base Appraisal Management, based on the progress made in the analysis and report preparation.
Final Terms:
By engaging our services and making payment, you agree to the terms outlined in this policy. We value transparency and professionalism and encourage you to contact us with any questions or concerns before proceeding with your appraisal order payment.
